The Măgura Past & Present scenario of the the Art-Landscape Transformations project conducted a range of actvities within and around Măgura and at the Teleorman County museum between 2008 and 2011.
The project is a partnership between Cardiff University and the Teleorman County Museum and funded by the European Commision. The project is directed by Douglass Bailey and Steve Mills (Cardiff University) with Ecaterina Ţânţăreanu and Pavel Mirea (Teleorman County Museum).

The Măgura Past & Present book [pdf, 15mb] presents reflections by some of the project participants on the art residencies, workshops and exhibitions they were involved with and addresses issues to do with intervention, national and international collaboration, participation, and the relevance, meaning and accessibility of artistic and scholarly outputs to diverse audiences.
